As a teen, when kids actually played backyard tackle football .... a Sunday afternoon game across from the "club" was a tradition.... "Goldie" was the lovable neighborhood retriever that always had a tennis ball in her mouth.... she'd just go up to the tennis courts and grab one from outside the fence
