I’m about to start the same project with the same tank. I’m my case I was lucky enough to talk to a smart guy at Pelican who guided me to the correct tank.
I’m planning to clean the inside with the stuff in the picture below. It’s my understanding that there may be contaminants in the tank from the manufacturing process and rinsing it out is one of those better safe than sorry kinda things.
