My brother bought his as a total basket case with a body ready for paint back in '82. His friend taught him how to block sand and he got it ready for painting. His friend, who was in the restoration business, put 10 coats of lacquer on it. Mom ran into it with her Volvo when it was parked in her garage. His friend fixed the fender. I've pushed it around a lot as it does run but never when I'm around helping out. I've ridden in it one time in all the time he's owned it. I've never driven it.
