^^^^ That 1976 price list is interesting. So the International was just a little less than a Schwinn Paramount. I bought a 1975 Paramount brand new. A P13 road racer , all Campy with Clement Silk tubulars (Those were crazy money - $38/each as I recall). Somehow figured out how to put a rack on it and a buddy of mine and I tent-camped about 600 miles in northern Mich (yeah, touring with a P13 road racer!). Lost count of the punctures in those damn tires. I became exceedingly proficient at repairing silk tubulars on the shoulder of the road.
I'm in the process of restoring a 60/70s track bike and it came with a beat up leather saddle. Could barely make out the logo as an Ideale. Further researched it and found it is a No. 80 Record. And found that Ideale saddles are still being handmade in France in very limited quantities.
