Picked up the 944 last night from the new owner. He is happy with it and is looking forward to continuing the restoration. . Drives pretty well.
The battery died on the owner. I suspected the VR so I swapped it this morning as well as the coolant temp sensor. Now I noticed for some reason it had silicone sealant in the connector.
Looks like it blew out the front right damper. Oil everywhere and a minor leak from the front crank seal ( I knew I should have changed it) and the right side of the PS rack. I’d rather not overhaul the whole thing. Anyone have luck with only replacing the right seal(s)?

Debating whether or not to
replaced 1 contiguous fuel line from back to front or splice in where I put rubber in. I’ll need compression fittings.
I’m open to suggestions.
