^^^ I was far from rich. Poured every dollar I made into bikes. I couldn't afford a silk tire replacement on that trip so I just kept adding patches! Haven't done any touring since the 70s. These days, 25-35 mile rides are ideal. Although I do have a 60-mile Gran Fondo/Race coming up next year. Racing at 66 ... I must be an idiot
