Come to think of it... They're were a lot of good things about the 70s.
- Before AIDS.
- Herpes was something that very few people had.
- STD's have always been there but condoms worked (mostly).
- Ladies didn't shave like they do now... Just sayin but I kind of miss that.
- No mobiles, Internet, Email and countless other "essential" costs that just seem to be getting worse.
- Today it seems like someone is always trying search your pockets for more money.
- We all got the official news (Is this good or bad?).
When we played 8 Ball you paid you bets in cash to a third party on site. It wasn't a lot of money (usually less than $10 per game) but back then I watched matches that had thousands at stake! All illegal and underground but the local cops used to place bets and never did anything about it... Somehow putting money down made it a whole lot more interesting. I don't gamble today but I'll never forget that feeling. And I can see why people get addicted.
