Yeah, that was going to be one of my spinoff gripe threads, usb/micro usb hookups that start to short out after regular use.

There's a special level of hell for non replaceable batteries. Anything I gotta go solder, etc, is a real pita.

I'm also weary of trickle chargers for the same reason. So many cheap ones, I get a bit weary of them all, although I probably shouldn't be scared of better ones.

Reading my post several days later, I guess one "could" say there is room for simplification in my life to reduce the things that need the batteries in the first place.

But that's not the American way
