Chickasha, OKlahoma! They have a 50 foot tall Christmas Story leg lamp! They have several little shops on Chickasha Ave to meander through. They are gearing up for their annual Christmas Festival of Lights with lots of pop up shops and activities (later in November) If you’re wondering why a leg lamp? The original leg lamp that was the inspiration for the Christmas story was created by an OU art professor that was born and raised in Chickasha. Everyone was so kind and outgoing. It’s worth the trip.
