Installation of speed humps have begun on four stretches of Mulholland. The first set of four were added today. I'm going to drive up tonight to see if there's space on either end to dip a tire, but I'm not optimistic. |
These are not the first Speed Bumps to be installed. The first ones appeared just west of Coldwater in European Straight about 3 years ago.
These new set of Speed Bumps are east of Laurel Canyon according to the map.
This area was not a preferred place to race around in and is quite a ways from "The Racecourse" between Coldwater and Laurel.
Let's hope that the City doesn't put down Speed Bumps all across Mulholland.
Like Dave said, to adjust, you would increase suspension travel, raise the car, and soften the spring rates. Then you could just fly over those darn Bumps.
