Hi, everyone.
There are two leaks in this system. One is just below reservoir from the hose/connector leading to a "radiator-like" cooling loop (behind bumper) and another from the flex hose (top) coming from steering box.
Question 1: I understand that hose from reservoir is a return, low pressure line. Can I just replace hose from reservoir to the cooling loop, affixed to metal line with a hose clamp? In this case compression fitting must be cut and removed. See associated pictures (diagram part #31):
Question 2: Refer to the diagram indicated as an arrow and a question mark. From diagram this line seems to be metal, but on the actual picture I see a bent flex hose. Is that existing flex hose a wrong part, installed by a PO? See pictures:
