I posted about this 14 years ago… when I first moved to our farm, we didn’t have a shop. I bought 2 Costco car tents and put my 2 911s in them. One morning while out plowing snow, I noticed something… I could see one of my cars.

In a windstorm the previous night, the car tent broke apart badly. The plastic bases that were screwed to the 2x10 lumber broke and let go one by one with the vertical legs beating the 5hit out of my 911 as they let go. The car tent was located by my wife 2 days later 1/2 a mile away and looking like a plane wreckage. Big insurance claim on that 911 and a complete repaint and it’s as good as new. Costco took the tent back.
