I generally, much to my wifes chagrin, keep them just for the occasional satisfaction of finding a repurposed use and being able to gloat about it.
Kind of like this bin of used P Car transmission parts I have that I don't even know why I have because they fit neither of my cars.
I like having them around because it provides the opportunity for snarky commentary when the door opens.
