You can't afford to wait on repairs for productive equipment. That's why farmers (around here) buy a new $400,000 combine every 3 years. Nothing wrong with the old one, but something MIGHT go wrong just when you need it the most.
Don't overlook the value of retail therapy. Buying something you want feels good! When I was single I used to buy myself something every time a girlfriend dumped me. I got a BMW R1100 RT, a 911, a bulldozer, and a Cartier watch that way. My friend told me I was going to either quit being such a prick or build a bigger garage!
