Phew, tough work day today.
I had to drive to Wiley Post airport where the avionics shop is, to pick up my business partner, and take him to his car at the airport where we keep the airplane.
Our Cessna just came out of Annual inspection, and they said the second (backup) radio is noisy and has issues. We have a G-100 instrument cluster from the factory. No repair, just exchange with a replacement factory refurbished radio. And the right seat headphone jack is really clicking a lot on the intercom. If it was a car, I could likely do both, but we need those rather important log entries from a certified shop to make it legal.
It is in good hands.
