But I could be wrong, I was just a kid. We also swapped to snow tires in the winter full time. I think the first time we lived there (late 70s) we actually had studded tires in the winter. But I think the second time we lived there (mid 80s) studs were verbotten, and we used snow tires and put chains on as needed (which usually meant that I was out putting chains on the car with/for dad).
Maybe the house is for a Geometry teacher!
