I installed factory Cabrio / Club Sport engine mounts (higher durometer rubber than original coupe mounts) and WEVO black transmission mounts on my 1987 mildly wife unfriendly / "Club Sport" M491 build.
It definitely provides a more sports purpose feel.
I also have a spring centered clutch disk and had a WEVO PSJ. There was definitely more vibration transmitted through the shifter with the new Cab / Club Sport engine mounts and Wevo trans mounts. I swapped the stock shift coupler back in and that tamed things a bit.
For a Targa, I'd likely go with the Cab / Club Sport engine mounts and stock transmission mount. If the transmission mount inserts are toast, you might consider pairing the slightly firmer engine mounts with these...
