Using 574/615 Sachs clutch kit with 964 RS flywheel
using 574/615 sport clutch kit, has anyone used it with 964 RS flywheel and 964 G50 trans? .. I got a 964 G50 trans which I converted back to '87-'89 by replacing the nose cone and the shifter rod, and will need the RS flywheel because I'm using EFI via Haltech 2500 ECU (need the built-it 60-2 tooth setup). I currently have the Sachs sport clutch kit 574/615 which I want to use with this setup along with a 3.2 converted to 3.3 engine. I read this thread a while a go and I concluded that I need to use a second G50 starter ring as a spacer to make things align correctly, but also someone mentioned there that the bearing fingers are still 5.5 mm away from the clutch fork. Here is a drawing showing what I mean :
