The front bearing bushing was pushed out. Definitely the source of the rattle at low idle and spin down.
Will pushing it back in suffice or do I need to check all the bushings that is rebuilt the torque tube?

Putting the 944 back together is a PITA. Don’t know why but I can’t do it the normal way of mounting the clutch to the flywheel then the TT with bell housing. I have the mount the disk and PP onto the shaft and lift the TT onto the engine then tighten the PP bolts through the starter hole. In order to have easy access to the top I do it with the front wheels on the ground. So precious clearance. Made even harder since my elbows were stiff and sensitive after falling backwards onto them. I really should invest in a lift.
