Actually yes but any vehicle used in the Outback must be 99.99999% reliable & dust proof.
Also, the reflective nature of the SS finish & the Gorilla glass would help keep the temperature down in the cabin. The enclosed cargo bay would also be very useful (food and provisions storage).
Charging would be the big problem in the Outback.
