Slater's Bridge in Cumbria is the most picturesque and one of the oldest surviving bridges in Britain's Lake District. The 17th-century footbridge was made entirely from slate by miners who worked in the nearby slate quarries of Tilberthwaite Fells.






Melissani Cave is located on the island of Kefalonia, in the Ionian Sea. Some say the water is so clear the boats look like they are floating on air, like this picture by Dionisis Kaminaris seems to confirm.
