Is it legal to have a door tag made/duplicated that matches the tag under the fender ? That way if/when you replace the door everything still matches . I don't know if that's worth the trouble or not .
There must be a rule/law ( maybe not ) that lays out the process of replacing a door or parts that contain a VIN or serial number . Interesting dilemma . Good luck
