Help me understand. Is the VIN on the door itself? That sounds odd, as a door is easy to swap. On older cars I've seen the VIN on the door post, between the hinges, but not on the door itself. I've also seen the SO number hidden in places, but not the VIN. The build sheet is needed to tie the SO and VIN together.
I'm not trying to be difficult. I'm just wanting to learn.
