My old Ala Kart Slingshot.. Twin MC7's with direct drive. Loud as hell and beat a new GTO in a drag (up to about 60 when it ran out of revs). You started it by picking up the back end and running a bit then jumping in and hitting the gas pedal. One of my buddie's dad worked in construction and could get 5 gallon cans of nitro so we ran that with Castrol. Long time ago. The thing could do wheelies with new slicks. We ended up burning the pistons and my dad said that was the end! Dang! But I remember that sweet smell of the Castrol.
