2 revvs is revvs. doesn't matter what gear you make em in for the engine..
3 dunno
4 you want to keep your engine in the best part of it's power/torque curve for sporty driving but that usually is something you feel while driving... you could go all scientifical about it and have the car tested on a dyno to know what your cars curve is since it's probably not the same curve as when it left the factory.. but i'de say that's a bit over the top...
