While I respect your rat rod goal, these things tend to escalate quickly. Most notably we get a bad case of the "might as wells" or "while we're in theres", and then there is the ridiculous price of Porsche parts. Also, the surprises.

I have always encouraged Mario. He reminds me of my younger self. If you can manage your expectations and stick to your "driver" goals, it could could turn into a cool project. Just be ready to overspend your money and your time.
