I've contemplated doing this but realized not worth it because the 964 993 RS Flywheel / Clutch, releaser (fork, bearing, guide tube, etc.), ring gear, starter all different offsets as you know. Using the earlier 930 clutch parts would not attempt because future service and parts availability.
That a great illustration but I see the starter shown is the early type (upto 89). 964 993 uses a longer reaching gear and the G50.03- Transaxle has different features. The other big difference is hydraulic vs cable releaser design. Also to consider the crankshaft architecture is also much different with dual mass flywheel, harmonic damper on the other end.
I would suggest running a 993 GT2 (RS singlemass) clutch cover, disc, ring gear, release bearing and guide tube so the starter, releaser, etc match.
Now if you had an early G50 (-89) you could use the G64.01 Flywheel with 60-2 timing features and for use with the earlier G50.01 transaxle / clutch. This is also 240mm like the 930 4-Speed, 911 Carrera 3.2L DME /G50 5 Speed. Then in the future you have replacement clutch options as well. You can also use a lighter weight KEP aluminum clutch. This is handy when putting in a 964 993 engine into a 911 3.2L / G50 car.. or 89 Turbo G50.50.
Hope this helps, Happy Holiday's 2023!
