Cleopatra is beautiful!
Our eldest dog, Boser, is a 16 year old Dachshund. He's now deaf and blind. We've had him since he was little bitty and we were both young enough to still be living at home with our parents.
We took him to the vet a week ago, fully expecting he'd had a stroke and was going to be put down. In short order our friend and vet informed us that he had
Old Dog Vestibular Disease, aka Vertigo.
Apparently the only thing you can do is try to keep them comfortable, hydrated and fed. I was hoping for a few days, but apparently it can last for a few weeks. Mom had meetings today so he came into the shop with me and is sleeping like a rock.
Has anyone else dealt with this?
