No vin, but I have a story about the car. It was 1991 in Sacramento. I was a valet in a high end shopping center. What drives up?
PVT DCR! After telling the owner about how it was my favorite movie ever, he very kindly gave me a spirited ride around the block in it. A moment I’ll never forget.
I later tracked the car down in Los Angeles with the hopes of buying it. The closest I got was getting in email contact an owner after the guy they gave me a ride, but no longer the current owner. Told me his fellow PCA CLUB friend that lived in his neighborhood was the current owner, but the car wasn’t for sale and wouldn’t give up his contact info. As he composed his email to me he said he was looking at the PVT DCR plate he kept that was still hanging on the wall of his office!
