A seven speed manual transmission? It seems to me that it's a very poor engine that has such a narrow power band that it needs 7 gears. Unless I'm on the track I often skip 4th on my 5 speed 911.
I had to laugh at Leno saying his Carrera 2 hunkers down at 100 mph. My coupe feel like it's about at V1 at that speed. It must be the weight of all those extra cams in Jay's car.
Another guy said Porsches are, "...built to last." Until they started dipping the bodies, I would say, "Porsches are built to rust." I've probably parted out half of dozen five and six year old 356s and 912s because the bodies were rusted away.
