A massive EV network would crash the current grid in
any city the second it is plugged in. To get to the place of a majority of vehicles being EV, the entire utility industry would need BILLIONS of dollars to upgrade. Heck, Kalifornia can't keep the power on during the summer months. Add a 50% load increase and you will have brownouts more than 50% of each calendar day (hypothetical numbers to make a point but the logic is solid).
