I read that he was in custody when he appeared. Ok but if there is no jury present then why the civilian clothes?
Here if you are getting sentenced and in custody you are in orange scrubs, cuffed and shackled. I saw a sentencing today in felony court, defendant out on bond in front of judge in clothes w/o cuffs. No problem but deputies w/i arms length of him. Of course, I was there in case then needed backup.
This will not end well for him.
