I use Testors and Vallejo. Have some old Testors Model Master but they discontinued that line a while back. Too bad as they were very good for airbrushing. I have an external mix Testors airbrush, an automotive gun style single action gravity feed (clearance at Menards for $12) and a Badger Renegade Krome dual action. I use a 6 gal pancake Bostitch that I set to 30psi with the Badger, 22psi for the single action gravity feed. Haven't used the external mix yet on the compressor to know where, but probably 25 to 28 psi on that. I don't have large areas to cover so I don't really use it any more.

Fine lines are very difficult to me at 55 compared to when I was 16 starting out in all this as you can see by the pink brush and lousy line on the tire.

My nephew swears by The Army Painter paints and I have them on the list to try.

You can get turnstiles at Hobby Lobby like these to clamp and rotate the models. Very nice to work with. The Vallejo cover nice and leave the detail intact, but they are easily scratched compared to the regular Testors enamel.
