When I was in school we had a Polish guy in our class. He's nickname was "Polecat" and his younger brother was "Polekitten".
Polecat's mom used to pack his lunch in a Tupperware tub. The most devine sandwiches you can imagine. So we devised ways to trade him out of his sandwiches and when our negotiations failed, we would just steal his lunch and replace the sandwiches with a small paving brick from a pile of leftover paving bricks in one corner of the schoolyard.
When his mom found out, she started packing two lunch boxes for him. One for him and one for us to steal and replace with paving bricks. This went on for years.
After we graduated the Polecats were moving back to Europe and invited all the classmates for a farewell party at their home. The house was built in a U-shape with a nice size pool in the middle and some flower beds here and there. Polecat took us on a little winding path from the patio to the pool that he constructed with all the paving bricks he found in his lunchbox over the years.
