Good idea on the foam insulation box.
I tried attaching blueboard to a piece of OSB using liquid nail. The liquid nail just melted the blue board and would not stick.
My parents had a whole house fan at their house and covered it with a sleeping bag to stop drafts. We sold the house a couple years ago and I hope somebody took the sleeping bag off, before they tried to turn the fan on!
