I hope its just an easy solution for you - like a bad contact in the chassis plug or lamp socket corrosion. HAve you twisted the fuse(s), IIRC there are separate fuses for left and right, low and high beam (4) - so a bad contact at the fuse could cause your one headlight issue.
I had problems with the fuses in the past, so I always wiggle/twist them just to be sure.
that was before I replaced the fuse block ...
