Pet insurance
I was recently quoted $5000 to repair a friends dogs torn ACL. I had this done to my own dog years ago for around $1000. I am wondering if it’s the same scam as with people insurance, where if an individual is paying it’s $5000, but if an insurance plan pays for it, the doctor is happy to accept $500, or $1000.
