Hi Pelican, any recommendations for transmission repair work on an '87 G50 transmission? Trans is out of the car. Planned work is 1/2 slider hub assy and 1st/2nd gear synchros.

The local transmission shops I called stated they weren't equipped or interested.

Is this simple enough that an average wrench could handle it?
