But hasn't it always been this way, even James Dean had to beg to get a 550 Spyder. Or can you imagine if you wanted a 906 and weren't royalty?
The very few have always gotten the hottest cars, this is nothing new.
What you have to know about certain cars that manufacturers make are not for mass consumption. The same way the dress you see at the Yves St. Laurent runway show isn't for purchase, but you can buy a lesser copy a year later at the mall.
