Even more likely if the trailer is loaded for many miles on one tire.
Uhaul doesn't care and does not provide a spare on the trailer.
I don't loan out my trailers mainly to protect the tires and the wiring.

I think I lost the tire at the exit before I got off I-95. I happen to look to my right and a car on the on-ramp to 95 was looking at me like I had three eyes. In retrospect, I think he was looking at the tire self-destructing. After I got to the track and unloaded, I called U-Haul and they had somebody there within an hour to swap out the tire. That’s the one good thing about renting a trailer.
