Yep, it’s a tale as old as sports cars. Either the dealer will make that markup, or it will be made in the resale market. I worked for a broker in the early 90s. I remember one day the owner made a deal on an F40 allocation. The car wasn’t even scheduled to be made for another two years. He bought it for $750k and sold it a few hours later for $1.25 M. It’s just how it is.
