Is that just parts or is that parts and labor. My guess is just parts.
And as I'm sure you know any used parts you buy are suspect at this age.
so its likely that a trans would need a rebuild. then whatever else goes with the "while were in there" syndrome.
I guess what I am getting at is it would have to be a screaming deal on the car to make it make sense.
Id probably choose a good manual in a non red color before I did this.
I know what I am like for speed of projects and things of that nature.
