Took my wife, kids and grandkids skiing yesterday. Only second time for 3 of the grand kids (youngest girl is 5). First time for my 5 year old grandson. Went to the same little place in southeast Michigan that I learned to ski 51 years ago when I was 6 years old... Alpine Valley.
Man it is a bunch of work and a long day teaching and dealing with two 5 year olds on the ski slopes.... They had fun at least and no crying!
My daughters are decent skiers as I taught them young but their husbands are not that good..... Somehow I end up doing all the ski instruction. LOL
With 5 year old grandson and granddaughter nearly all day long on the beginner hill.
Felt bad that I could not spend much time with the two older grandkids, but I got a couple runs in with them and my wife when the little ones went in for a break.
