And there seem to be a lot of people misusing Handicap permits as well. We went on sort of a group trip last year with several cars. One couple had a handicap license plate. That surprised me because they seemed to be doing everything the group was doing. Including, at one point, running across a beach and climbing on and over dead trees?? But every single stop we made they would find the handicap parking spot right up front, even if there was only 1 available

I couldn't help but think of my mom who is 92 and on oxygen and my FIL who is also 92 and has an assortment of health issues. They both NEED to park close due to their physical conditions. Any reasonable person would think,
"hey, there's only 1 spot and I just got done running across the beach. Maybe I should leave it open for someone who truly needs it" Nope, not these entitled A-holes who somehow managed to get a HC tag and are lawfully taking full advantage of it at others' expense
The kicker was that often times the HC spot they parked in was only 25 feet from where the rest of us parked .... really, you can't walk the extra 25 feet? Pure entitlement mentality.
