Thanks Matt. It's currently too rich for my blood...
I see CMS offers a $1595 rebuild fee to start plus parts.
I guess my options are:
1) Get the OT lined up at work and pay for 12hrs + parts
2) Send down to CMS and hope that I beat my local quote
3) Start a thread here and wade through this repair together as a group
