I don't remember if the article said, but there was a crosswalk but no stop sign or light. I'm assuming that the road was probably 45mph, maybe 35mph. It doesn't sound residential and 20-30. Still, going 70-80+ and not even realizing that you'd hit a person...
Maybe she needs to start having people tell her, "I hope you're burned over a large percentage of your body so you can go get services from the Grossman Burn Clinic." She should have someone tell her that every day for the next 10 years.
