That's the inexperience part, IMO. The division championship game is not a regular season nor a play-off contest. It's for all the marbles of which both teams' coaches are obviously well-aware. The winner of such games
usually does not take unnecessary chances just for glory.
Yep, long and bright future. Lions fans are looking forward to their next serious run at the Super Bowl that happens every 67 years or so, as in 2091 AD.
There's some real disappointment permeating these parts.
