Yep, I am done!
The old battery lasted 50 months. I have three screw down "hose clamp" holding the pole to the fence post. The fence post is a metal shaft and the pole for the transmitter is just held in place with the three hose clamps or straps. The transmitter has two 11mm nuts clamping it to the pole. So my small drill driver can zip then apart. Real easy battery replacement, back on the pole and raise the pole back up to max height, solar cells pointing to the south. It would be more accurate for the wind speeds if it were way higher, as the trees, my storage building, the neighbors storage building, and houses affect the wind speeds reading. It is an open area so rain fall, temps, humidity are all OK.
The inside unit will tell me the battery is low out there. It takes a a full day to get the message the battery is not low.
