Who as a kid didn't love a good hideout? I don't have a hideout, and I'm pretty unlikely to spend money on a hideout.
I could see having a cabin in the woods that burned wood, had a well, etc... It would be a vacation getaway, but could probably be used as a hideout if needed.
I've always wanted to explore abandoned places. I've always thought that it would be cool to have a hidden doors, passages, rooms. I've always thought that it would be cool to buy a house that had a cold war bomb shelter.
