A lot
I have 2 dozen slipjoint knives. I collect, use and love them but one issue is they (by choice) are all carbon steel. No good for food prep. And dulls quick.
For most all tasks I use one of my spyderco knives for food, boxes, etc….either a paramilitary 2 or my favorite the manix 2 with partial serration.
